Murvat works collaboratively with regional partners\, including the City of Lubbock\, Lubbock County\, Texas Tech University\, South Plains College\, and the South Plains Association of Governments\, in furthering her organization's economic development mission.\n\n\n\n \n\nMurvat has over 25 years' experience in both the public and private sectors in various leadership roles including executive management positions in such industries as defense\, mortgage banking\, public administration\, and economic development.\n\nMurvat has a Bachelor of Science in Finance from George Mason University\, and Master of Public Administration from Texas Tech University\; she is also a Certified Public Manager.
